Double Pie Iron Sandwich Maker for Camping, Cast Iron Campfire Pie Cooker

Amazing! It gets very hot very quickly and makes a fantastic grilled cheese, I also place a graham cracker with chocolate on the cold bottom and then heat the top part and cover and it’ll act like an oven and melt the chocolate or peanutbutter cup for smores. It is a little heavy but it’s made of cast iron so to be expected. Nothing I made stuck to it but I did use butter so as long as you use butter It should be okay I guess. Completely worth the money.

Haven’t used yet. Appears to be of good quality. Like the size as we already have a couple singles.

We haven’t got to use this product yet, we are planning to use it tomorrow evening at a family gathering (that’s why I ordered them), but the one handle won’t screw in to the cast iron, and trying to force it makes the wooden handle just spin (see video). I wanted to reach out to the company directly but Amazon handles the fulfillment and it will not allow me to get that far. It doesn’t even allow me to state the problem in my own words. It basically asks yes or no questions that don’t necessarily apply bc I don’t simply just want a return or a refund. I need to be able to use it tomorrow, so I’m going to have to make it work the best I can for now but since it won’t allow me to actually speak to someone I don’t know what my options even are. For instance, are the handles replaceable individually ? Or is the only option to return the whole thing ? And if I use it, can I still return it ? I mean another one isn’t going to arrive in time to return it first so that’s not an option. I really wish this wasn’t so complicated. I guess I’m just going to have to wait and at some point try to call Amazon. Anyway, for the double cast iron mountain pie maker as a whole, I will update this once I am able to testify to how well it works for us. I’m hoping this pie making gathering will go smoothly even though again, we’re going to have to be quite careful the one handle doesn’t fall out in the process being that it’s barely screwed in, but it looks like a pretty well made product other than that in my opinion thus far.

My husband and I are avid campers, and we just celebrated our Sixth anniversary. The traditional gift is 'Iron' and I knew I couldn't possibly get The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones into the house inconspicuously so I went a little 'outside of the box' and decided to go the practical route by purchasing these IRON pie irons. These are well made, slim for packing purposes, and will make us lots of yummy camp foods over our campfire.
