Picked up the Probrico satin nickel door knobs with key, and they’re pretty solid for the price. Finish looks smart and modern, and the lock mechanism works smoothly. Easy enough to install with basic tools, even if you’re not a pro at DIY. Only thing to note is they’re not keyed alike across multiple sets, so if you’re fitting several doors and want one key for all, you’ll need to plan ahead. Otherwise, good quality, feels sturdy in the hand, and tidy upgrade for any door.

For the price this was a good deal. Easily swapped out for an old council house bathroom door. This is very much designed for internal applications. The lock is strong enough for privacy in a bathroom but not enough to secure a front door. The installation was very easy, although the frame plate was a different size to the old one and I had to chisel a bit of wood to ensure proper fit.

Fiddle to fit and seems good and solid. Unfortunately I can’t get it to lock with the key or turn knob. Its too late to send back when fitted.

Well...... it looks good, it's easy to install and it works well. Was just the thing to add the finishing touches after decorating a bedroom. It has a quality feel and looks the part.

Good product

Very good build quality and installed product looks nice. I bought this to replace my existing bathroom door lock which was identical to this one. Issues with installation: the door knob comes with metal teethers protruding from the surface that sits on the door, which needed the whole in the door to be widened so that the knob fits flush to the door surface. Another important thing buyers need to know is that this product is designed to be fitted with the center of the knob hole to be positioned either at 60mm or 70mm from the side of the door. If you are replacing an existing lock and your existing whole is positioned somewhere in between these two positions then you will have problem with the handle not turning back in position because of the oddly designed latch which prevents the spindle to turn if it is located around 65mm position from the side of the door. I ended up using my existing latch mechanism and using only new knobs from this product because of this as my existing latch can be used with spindle located at any position between 60mm to 70mm. I hope the manufacturer corrects this silly design fault as its an unnecessary restriction and can be fixed easily.
