Beechams, 1848-2000: from Pills to Pharmaceuticals

Great book interesting history

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my husband who used to work at Beechams. He seems very pleased with his gift and has already started to read it.

Very disappointed to notice cover was damaged on arrival & had been patched up in a very amateur manner.Have'nt read book yet.

Excellent!

I have only just started reading this book but would thoroughly recommend it as both a keepsake book (it has lovely drawings on the front cover and glossy paper on which it is printed on makes it even more enjoyable whilst reading it) and a good read. The author has done good research and tells the story of Beecham very well. It an interesting read of how it went from a pill maker to GlaxoSmithKline.
