Viotti Violin Strings 4/4 Full Set | Medium Tension Synthetic-Core Strings with Gold E String for Brilliance, Power & Projection, Silver Wound D & G Strings, and Aluminum Wound A String

I purchased these last minute for a church performance for my electric violin. If you buy cheap you get cheap, however, these strings are marvelous. The sound quality is so much better than others I have used. The sound is rich, and so is the tone. I delivered a great performance. I did not hear any scratching or unwanted noises from these strings while performing. You will have to retune after your performance.But that is perfectly fine. Good strings will do that. I recommend you pick up one extra pair for backup purposes.

These have a very short break in time and stay in tune a lot better than other strings in this price range. They have a darker sound (better than Tonicas) which is what we were going for, but the E string is a bit dull to his ears so he has a Wondertone E on. My kid is a snob and only wants strings that cost as much as Evah golds, so for him to be happy with $35 strings and to no longer demand Larsen Il Cannone or Wondertone is the BEST. THING. EVER. Buying another couple of sets as spares. So far, I've been really happy with everything Viotti, and these strings are no exception.

Very good sound, I don’t play my violin much but one string broke already.

Initial tone is not as pleasing as more costly strings but after 3 days of breaking in they are more mellow. They are a bright solo sounding set with plenty of volume.

Warm, string quality with great playability. It settled in right away! Just fantastic! I was really, really surprised!

"D" string broke at the fine tuner as I was tightening it for the first time. There doesn't seem to be any way to access customer support for a replacement. I don't recommend doing business with this seller.

I have tried a set on my 140 year old Italian violin and the sound was definitely brilliant. The strings responded easily and having a silver wound G and D strings, as well as the gold plated E string helped the evenness and balance between strings. Recommended for all levels! Edit (February 2024): Just ordered two additional sets of these strings! The Viotti strings are long lasting and maintain their brilliant sound in time. While I played on a lot more expensive sets of strings, most of these degraded in about 3-4 weeks with daily practice, rehearsals and concerts. Not so with the Viotti strings! These are great and will sound wonderful and last as well.

Easy to string, great clean sound, holds tune well, and great price

Sé que cada violín es diferente y es difícil encontrar las cuerdas adecuadas para cada uno, sin embargo, en mi violín antigüo de aproximadamente 1900 estas cuerdas hacen que tenga un sonido profundo y equilibrado, no suena nada metálico, se puede decir que esta marca puede competir con las marcas de cuerdas Alemanas y Austriacas famosas.

not a very long lasting item for the price. bought $10 strings at the same time for another violin and they are still working.

Se adaptan bastante rápido. Tienen buena respuesta al tacto, el material (Perlon) es de buena calidad. Buen sonido muy balanceado en todas las Cuerdas. Las recomiendo.

Tienen un color muy agradable y sacan del apuro

Tres cuerdas dañadas. Una sin bola, en la foto,otra torcida de que fue enredada en un violín. Otra deshebrada del extremo. Desastre total.
