These are some of the most amazing teaching tools I've ever seen and used! Ray Vander Laan is an amazing and passionate teacher who takes you on site to biblical locations and lays the the historical and cultural background before delivering a powerful and anointed exposition of the Scriptures! He has opened my eyes/heart/soul to a world I never knew! When he puts the Scriptures into the context of the Where, Who, What and Why- we gain insight and understanding that has lacked in traditional teaching. His theology and research is right on! If you want to experience the Living Word of God in a Powerful and new way, then do yourself a favor and invest in these videos and books!I was also very happy with the prompt delivery and quality packaging. Great service.

This is a great video series. It teaches Biblical history at places where that history took place, so it is almost like virtually visiting the Holy Land. But it's not just history, it's also applying Biblical teaching to your life. The only caveat I have is that especially in the early videos there is a slight overemphasis placed on making disciples of all nations to the neglect of preaching the gospel to them first.

I bought these and found out that additional DVD’s were added 13-16 so I called Ficus On The Family to order them. When I received the DVD’s from Focus I realized that they were very different from the set purchased here (Amazon),These DVD are not original!Focus sells for $69.99 and they include a booklet too.These are copies and some do not play properly!Do not waste your money. Call Focus on The Family and order the real series!BTW - I would recommend every user this series if you want to understand the Bible!!!

So excited to receive these fast and in perfect condition. We’ve watched the three free ones on amazon but now we have all 14 at our constant disposal and to share these deep and meaningfu, truthful, l messages from the Word of God!!

Our whole family loved these. Our children starting watching these when they were in 3rd grade and each year they learned and remembered more and more. It is a great Bible 101 on site wisdom, teaching learning in small portions!

Watched them all as soon as we received them. Plan on watching again. Hearing the stories of the Bible while visiting the sites brought clarity and understanding. Have now ordered vol. 13-16.

Had the original set of 5 on VHSLessons are on site and this adds impact to familiar verses, far beyond sitting in a church Bible study
