Sondre should be a household name, his music is so wonderfully catchy and intelligent. One of the best singer-songwriters working today.

Another great album by a great artist. This one is a little outside the box for Mr. Lerche. While the singing and songwriting will be familiar to any fans of his unique talents, the production is almost straight out of the 80s. You may recognize the sounds and even arrangements of some of these songs being from everybody from New Order to New Edition. But thanks to Lerche's complex melodic songwriting and passionate expressive voice the album stands as a unique experience of it's own. Highly recommended.

great artist, and special buy , recommend for sure

Brilliant use of 80s synth and layered vocal overdubs. Shades of Joy Division, New Order, A-Ha, Dead or Alive, Pet Shop Boys, etc. (Jobim, too) filtered through a contemporary lens. Sondre has commented on the seminal influence of this music; the sound is in his DNA, allowing him to pack a lot of dynamic musical ideas into the songs even as they remain organic. Sensual and self-explorational, driving and shifting, sometimes cynical, yet sincere. Some of his best lyrics to date: smart, clever, honest, liberating, bold, and provocative. Another breakthrough album by this brilliant, unique, and adventurous writer, musician, and crooner.
