Works with discontinued Gorrilla stepladder
Near perfect replacement shelf for old 6 ft aluminum Gorilla stepladder. Drilled old rivets and used 2 of the new bracket hinge holes and drilled 2 more to connect original swing brackets all connected with locking bolts included in kit. works like a new ladder

Smaller than expected
This product was smaller than expected but I think that I can still use it with a roller pan. When I finally asked my nephew to help attach it to my Werner ladder, he said that the directions were not clear. "They're just making fun of you with those directions".

Easy install
Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it was a quick10 minute install!

Cheaply made.
For $ 30 I'd expect something a little more sturdy and made of higher quality materials. I'd hesitate to put a gallon of paint this shelf held up by a couple of thin aluminum strips. As far as engineering, since you are using lock nuts, how about spacing the holes out so you can get a socket on the nut. The holes are spaced so close to each other that getting your socket on the nut is next to impossible. Yeah, use a wrench on a lock nut and see how long that takes to install. Their older ladders came with a fully functional plastic shelf, was sturdy and lasted for years. I guess this is up selling their ladders, like who needs a shelf with a ladder? Let's make it an option and make more $$

Not a good fit
Installed per instructions, shelf leaned back, see photo 1 Werner response :To be honest, I don’t see anything wrong with it . The pail shelf that you installed Model# PK76-9 is a universal pail shelf and should fit on all Werner Fiberglass Stepladder. The ladder brace design is really not level so the shelf will really have a slight angle when installed. But then again, nothing to worry because as long as the pail shelf is properly mounted on both rear and rungs there shouldn’t be any problem. Made a modification, cut off legs and added angle to top step. See photo 2.

Excellent. Light yet rugged, it works perfectly when I need a 6' ladder.
