Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this mug to replace one like it that had broken, and I'm very happy with the size and weight of it.

Read some negative reviews so I decided to test this thing carefully before deciding to keep it. The Amazon shipping cardboard box showed signs of rough handling, crunches and abrasions but the inner box and form fitting foam packaging was intact and the cup was undamaged. It arrived when our January local temperature was negative nine degrees so it passed the cold test. Ran it through the dishwasher. Boiled water in it in the microwave. Banged a spoon around inside to stir the cream and sugar. No signs of weakness or damage. Holds a bit more than 18 ounces full so about 2 cups (16 oz.) useful volume. The one I received looks like the Amazon photo. I purchased it because of the shape. The bottom is broad making it extra stable so less likely to tip when bumped. The upper lip curls out slightly making it easier to drink from. After two weeks of three times per day use, the thing is holding up and has become my new favorite mug. I feel sorry for the people who had bad experiences but that is the beauty of Amazon. Got a problem? Just return.

It was a gift and she loved it! She wanted a big coffee mug, and the added bonus was it was cute!

Lovely color and well balanced, but bought to hold 18 oz. with a little space left over. Mug cannot handle 18 oz. despite the supposed 21 oz. size. I bought a second mug by the same company that is 20 oz., and that one does hold 18 oz. with some additional space.

It's beautiful, and the handle is easy to hold. It's thick enough to keep coffee hot, but light enough to carry.

Be extremely careful with this product. I poured hot tea into it and it broken in half. What a mess this made. I spent all morning cleaning my cabinet drawer, everything inside, the floor, down the side of the stove, etc. So if this was on my lap or many other situations,
