Oregon Chainsaw Chain for 16" Bar, 3/8" LP, .050" Gauge, 56 Drive Links

I bought this chainsaw chain for my Homelite electric saw. It's sharp as a new steak knife and the chain stretched right into position. It's of good quality and the price was right.

Does the job. Oregon chains are always top notch. Cuts like butter.

I ordered the s56, it arrive quick with amazon frre two day. The listing indictaes s56 fits craftsman 16 inch , my saw. beter pricing than sears..Imagine that? any way when it came I removed worn chain and could see that s56 was way to big, so I re-inserted chain and in box, called oregon techincal servcie. USA based, knowledgable English as first lanagauge..how novel and nice! Gal asked what saw I had and said you need s55, call amazon customer servcie get rma and tell them to fix up listing guide. I called amazon, they sent link to rma and shipped s56, gave me amazon prime so I could my s55 in one day free shipping; And it came very next day! S55 fit cratsman 16 inch perfectly! and cuts through wood like budda. got a 2 pack for lesss than sears replacemnt, too. PLus a 5 gift card on next order for inconvience, Thanks amazon. I buy a lot of stuff from amazon, dvds, books, now replacemtn tool parts , and I used gift to get a ddewalt recipracating "sawsall" .I got 120 volt model as I need power tools. Not battery powered almost power tools. The sawsall came in one day too as I had use of amzon prime for 4 weeks too. this ends soon So all in all oregon makes great chainsaw tools, and amazon is a great company to do business with! I will be back. I also have sold my older books and kids last semester textbooks as well. The kids buy next semeste textbooks if the professors dont pull a switcher-roo, or mcraw hill doesnt go new edition (usually two pages, but you want the latest and then you pay Mcraw hill new bookstore outrageous pricing. and then its worth 1/2/ to 1/3 1 second later. The college kids are getting a raw deal on text books but amazon it an outlet that helps provide a forum to exchange texts to those whom can use them! I Love AMAZON...but you can always check manufacturer for sizing right before you order for detailed parts and maybe skip the rma cycle;even though amazon goes out of their way to make it right, every single time! Beats sears prices, Targets arrogance evey time! MHP

This could be a great blade, but I made a mistake on the measurement. It does not fit my saw. So who’s fault is that? I blame my parents.

This worked great on my Wen 40417 40v electric saw. Cut some 12 inch diameter crabapple logs easily.

Fits my electric chain saw perfectly, this is the 3rd one I have bought in the last 20+ years. UPDATE: 4/26 blades need a master link. They stretch too easily. Runout of adjustment. Ideas!?

These chains are a genuine Oregon product and very high quality. It was not too hard to fit on my chainsaw. I recommend these Oregon chains to anyone who has a blunt chainsaw and needs to replace the old chain - just make sure you check your chainsaw specs and you buy exactly the right size and type of chain that fits your chainsaw model. And you do need to know what you're doing when fitting the chain to ensure that your chainsaw runs safe (If you're even using a chainsaw I assume you know what you're doing).
