Fantastic. Comfortable handle, high quality mesh
This is great to use. Handle is comfortable, the rim is well sized, not too heavy, and has a high quality fine mesh. Love this for straining everything from sauces to ground Sichuan peppercorns to remove husks.

Super fine
So I bought this because I make my daughter’s formula in batches and sometimes there are a lot of bubbles afterwards that I have to scrape out with a spoon. This would’ve been perfect if the mesh wasn’t as tight. Instead of just the bubbles it was also picking up the cereal instead the mixture. I am keeping it because it is well made and good quality. I’m sure I’ll be able to find something to use it for in the near future.

Great coffee ground strainer
I bought this to strain the coffee grounds out of the french press so that they could be thrown away easier. This is well built and super easy to use. Perfect for my needs.

5.5" - very good
I got the medium sized one and it's very good. The mesh really is fine, food doesn't get stuck between the mesh and the metal collar. It wouldn't work for coffee grounds, but it'd probably work for shredded tea leaves.I used this to get the "scum" off of broth and then strain the broth (homemade chicken bone stock) and it worked very well to even get the smallest particles out, including all the tiny bones from the neck. The mesh size is consistent, too. (The complaints I saw on others were "the mesh size wasn't consistent/had big gaps" & "Food got caught between the mesh & the collar")The build quality seems really good and I'm guessing this will last me for years.I recommend the 5.x inch strainer for sure. Soon I will buy the 8.x inch and maybe the 3.x inch when needed.

Can't get perfect poached eggs? Are you using one of these?
It's all about poached eggs for me when it comes to breakfast, took a long time to suss out what the most vital component of the perfect poached egg is and it comes down to two things - first, the egg; younger the better as it has firmer white so if you can buy from a local farm from foraging hens you're golden: two, the fine mesh sieve; this is what gets rid of the wisps, there is no other way to get a perfect poached egg than to use a fine mesh sieve.Crack egg into sieve resting on a large cereal bowl. Let the wisps drain for 60 seconds. Lightly bounce the sieve on the bowl a couple times, let it drain for 15 more seconds. Tilt egg into a clean ramekin/small bowl and repeat for as many eggs as you need.Boiling water, turn to simmer/low, as soon as water stops rolling, place your eggs in. Place lid on. Timer set to 3:00. Remove using a slotted spoon and place on paper towel to dry.No need for vinegar, salt, stirring the water or any of that other nonsense, perfect poached eggs every time. This sieve is the perfect size, I've tried 3" and they're too small for LG or XL eggs to properly drain the wisps. This sieve fits perfectly on top of a cereal bowl, it's easy to clean and it's the right fine-ness to allow the wisps to drain while the egg remains perfectly intact.

Quality product
Solid item. Just what we needed to rinse off berries.

Much smaller than I expected
Quality is decent. I bought it because the handle is riveted to the bowl, it will last longer. Only issue is the size, it's only 5" opening. Works for most things I strain, but can't toss things around too much.

Great sturdy product.
The media could not be loaded. I ordered two and I am very happy with the product. The mesh is pretty solid. The joint is really well done. Great value for money! I would recommend it.
