Vanille Perfume Oil

I am a huge vanilla lover and have been searching for years for something to replace my beloved Body Shop vanilla perfume oil that was reformulated and now smells like a fruity floral mess. I've been curious about Madini oils for a long time, and when I saw they had a vanilla scent, I knew it was time to dive in. Since applying Vanille, I think I've smelled my wrists about 50 times! I must admit that the process did not go exactly as I thought it would though. When first applied, Vanille smelled much like the Advantage flea stuff I use on my cats! I was disappointed and told my boyfriend I was going to contact them and describe my experience. I was hoping all along though that the strange, acrid top notes would subside and a beautiful vanilla scent would be left for me to enjoy. Well, that's exactly what happened - on my skin this turns into a very true vanilla scent after a few minutes. Warm, creamy, comforting, slightly musky and not overly sweet at all...I think I will have to try more from this line.Edit: Sadly, the last time I repurchased this, it did not smell the same at all. It smelled watered down and harsh. I went back to using French Vanilla by Attaar Bazaar. Very bummed.
