Really nice for the basics!
This was a very concise book on how to read tea leaves. I was so happy to be able to read it for free on Kindle! There are directions on the type of tea to use, how to spin the leaves and flip the cup, how the leaves are related to one's fortune in regards to where they are within the bowl of the cup, and a very complete dictionary of symbols and their meanings. I do admit to skipping the sermon on why one should not read tea leaves for money. My only complaint about this book is the conversion to ebook - there are no pictures in the fifth chapter, so one can read the interpretations of the leaves in the cup but can't see the illustrations of how the leaves form the signs that must be interpreted. What a shame! There is also an appendix of omens that might be of interest! It was indeed a helpful first book on the art of tasseography, just wish the original illustrations had been intact.

Pictures would have been helpful
Interesting but hard to follow the shapes without pictures. Seems unlikely to see so many (detailed) pictures from just leaves. But the meanings of signs I found fascinating. Explained some common (and lesser known) superstitions/omens.

short version of another book
While free is a very good price, this is just a shortened version of Telling Fortunes By Tea LeavesCicely Kent, also free. Just get that one

Old book is old
This is an older book, but still full of interesting information. Bear in mind you may have to reinterpret some symbols, as it is unlikely any of us will be receiving telegrams.

Interesting Read
I have always wondered how seers actually come to the conclusions they do. This book explains it, as well as teaching the reader how to read tea-leaves. Even if this is not something you believe in, the concept is interesting and it is a fascinating read.

Informative
I enjoyed this little book. The list of symbols presented was quite extensive. The list of omens near the end of the book were interestingly opposite what I feel and believe, for the most part. Regardless, good book and I very much recommend it.

Extremely basic info book on tea-cup reading
A great little book on tea-cup reading, even if its extremely basic info. I would recommend this book for someone who knows absolutely nothing about tea-cup reading. This said, it is well written, and gives basic info to start with.
