All the stories are similarly great and impactful be that as it may I enjoyed the story "The Tuskers of Jashpur" which presents a grasping story where a rebel elephant crowd wreaks devastation on a destroy town. Interesting and thrilling
The book is a collection of short stories that portray some of the adventurous, thrilling events that happened in the life of a forester, Animesh while he was appointed in different parts of the jungle of Chattisgarh. The book has a total of 6 stories and each sets in different places of Chattisgarh. What I most like about the stories is that it not only shows the wildlife, but also focuses on the people living around them. How they both balance each other. There are also talks about corruption, poaching, how we're destroying the wildlife, how wildlife destroys the peaceful life of human life, so on. The book is really amazing, insightful and at the same time a thrilling enjoyable read, with a beautiful background.

Absolutely enjoy the stories
Review :“Every forest has a story to tell if you are willing to listen. But it is your choice to believe it or not.” This is a short story collection, narrating some thrilling, adventurous tales of a forester, his experiences as a forest officer all around the forest of Chattisgarh. The book has six stories in total and in each story we see him in different part of Chattisgarh forest, facing different problems connected with different animals. And sone of other experiences too. In The Panther's Lair and The Tuskers of Jashpur, the author raise the issues of human - wildlife conflict. In Bodhram of Patewa tells us his encounter with a ghost. In The Hunt for the Charger and The Thakur of Barsur, we see the narrator's encounter with poachers and also the heinous act of poaching animals. And at last in Bear Rampage in Kodar we see his encounter with Bear and some touches of spiritual believes. What I love most about the book is the author's vivid descriptions of the forest of Chattisgarh, the villages, the life of the villagers and most importantly the challenges and problems are faced by the forest officers. And also the beautiful pictures the author put in the book are absolutely beautiful and aesthetically perfect. So definitely a good book to clear your mind, make you longing for a forest retreat and also a good children's book.

Animal conservation
This book is a collection of server short stories each of them quite interesting to read. The readers will get glimpses of what spending some time in the jungle could be like reading the stories.The major themes of the book are protecting wildlife. We can say, the author's art of bringing out this theme with some challenges and so many good-to-read stories is worth praise! I learnt why it's necessary to have the laws of staying in our limits when it comes to the bond between humans and nature.The Hunt for Charger is Chattisgarh village and there is a thrilling story revolving around Vatsal, Sarpanch, the bike ride, and the Forest Department. The storyline that shows the jungle is really interesting and my favourite.There's another story titled, "the tuskers of Jashpur". This story reveals what sort of black deals and businesses people do in the jungle. It's interesting to read the misusage of elephant's teeth by targetting them. The fear and the panic regarding killing animals is really worth reading.Overall, if you are interested to pick up a book with short stories that can be read in two to three sitting, pick up this particular book.
