Not the Demis Rousssos I remember, but an excellent album you should give a listen to.
Although I was never a fan of Demis Roussos at the height of his popularity in the 70s and 80s, I never the less quite liked his stuff with Aphrodite's Child (which included Vangelis of Chariots of Fire claim) and especially loved their song Break from their rather heavy rock album 666.I think you must view this album as an album from an old seasoned rocker rather than expecting to hear his 70s high pitched kind of music. Although this is by no means a rock album, more a 70s singer songwriter towards the end of his life, similar to Johnny Cash doing Hurt. His voice is more seasoned, with more feeling of a man who has had a life long experience of living, behind him. This all adds to the feeling of the album, which is in my view a first class album for people who were/are into singer songwriters of the 70s.My pal who would have had no interest in listening to a Demis Roussos album, had he known who was singing, beforehand, was so amazed that it was Demis he was listening to, that he immediately ordered a copy, even at the expense of his street cred being downgraded, by people who refuse to even give the album a listen to due to their memories of his 70s music. If in doubt, at least use Amazon's MP3 preview of 30 second listen of tracks to give you a clue as to whether you would like it or not.

"Demis" by Demis Roussos was the last studio album to be released in the UK by Demis Roussos. His voice has aged and the album is just okay and is not as good as his earlier recordings and the last track is not good and it is not him at his best and I am surprised at it's inclusion
