Okay, but not Brilliant
I bought two 4ft, single tube fittings to cover the lighting in half of a new shed, the other half being supported by an existing (old) 5ft single-tube fluorescent, and a new 4ft electronic ballast single-tube fluorescent.I've been sceptical about LED lighting for a long time, but some are getting quite good now; these tubes, however, exhibit the typical trademarks of LEDs: Cool running, immediate power-on with no warm-up, but also narrow distribution of lighting (half of the tube is a reflector, giving little lateral lighting). They work, and provided that they meet your light-level requirements they should be a good buy - the simple design should be reliable and long-lifed.In my case the half of the shed illuminated by these is the dark-half, and I need a supplemental 2ft fluorescent for the work-area. From a lighting perspective these are significantly out-performed by a 10-year old 5ft fl. tube and a new 4ft fl. tube.

Let there be light
The item arrived in good time, well packed and with the correct amount of led bulbs. Upon opening i was confronted with a bag of bits and everything apart. The instructions are useless and you really need to work it out for yourself. Once you have worked our all the components and where they go and click together it starts looking like a finished product. Installation was quite easy as it comes with some clips that you can screw to the ceiling/wall first and then click the light on. When i turned on the unit i was impressed with the light and how much it lit up my garage. i will buy again. (i knocked off 1 start for the unit arriving in bits)

great light
o.k, i haven't yet fitted this light so can't comment on how bright it is, what i do know is, if this was a double light as appose a single with a spare bulb, when it is fitted it would be what i thought i was ordering!! one of the selling points of this product is the life of the led bulb, thousands and thousands of hours, why a spare bulb,? i suppose i could leave it to my grandchildren in my will. The instructions are rubbish, but you can get by that, the build is good, and each part looks like it is well made. just thought the listing was a bit mis leading hence the 4 stars.*** UPDATE*** I have now fitted the light in my garage and it was pretty straight forward given the poor instruction, flicked the switch and I was very impressed, very bright but not dazzling if you look at it, a four foot version is plenty to light your work bench. A great light and i've got a heirloom to pass down to boot!!

Defective Product
This light fitting blew the lighting circuit in my home.I engaged an electrician to sort the problem. He confirmed that I had correctly wired the unit, but that the unit was defective. Extra cost!!The documentation for the unit was pathetic. The unit itself requires self-assembly.No guide is provide to fix the supporting clips, so you have to measure and hope.Only cable access is at the ends of the unit. If your cable falls along the length of the unit then you have to create a hole in the base.Flimsy materials.Would not recommend this product at all.I bought an alternative led light fitting from a local supplier. It cost 20% more. But...Metal frame, with complete documentation, multiple cable access points, fully assembled...! Worked first time.Do not waste your money on this product!

OK for the price but be aware of the poor bracket to casing fitment
Wanted a replacement for my 30 year lamp that had given up the ghost in my garage. Prices can be a lot especially the tubes.Anyway came across this on Amazon. Just what I was looking for a 4 foot Twin Tube IP65 with cover supplied with the tubes and a decent warranty on both the casing and the tubes. I wasn't bothered about if they were LED or not but these are which is a bonus I suppose.Overall the fitting was a little fiddly but not too bad, but the instructions were not that good. The brackets have to be fitted first and the casing then snapped on. They are quite lightweight but then the whole lamp doesn't weigh very much so they should do the job.BUT what does concern me is the recess they snap into is quite shallow and should be much deeper to make it more secure. It doesn't take much to pull the casing out of the brackets and I wouldn't be confident in it without a modification.I suggest anyone fitting this lamp makes a modification to make sure the casing doesn't get dislodged if the lamp happens to be knocked. If it did theirs nothing but the cable stopping it crashing to the floor and I doubt the warranty would cover this sort of damage, though it should because the brackets attachment to the casing is a serious design flaw in my opinion. I know it shouldn't get knocked but it can happen if fitted in a garage or workshop. It has a cover to protect the tubes from damage so that's good. The light is pretty good and seems every bit as good as the 6 foot twin old style tubes it replaced. It remains to be seen how well the tubes and the casing last and if they outlive the warranty. I don't expect it to last as long as the other but the other cost more than this all those years ago.

Excellent quality
Did not know what to expect from this, but was pleasantly surprised. Was replacing a neon dual tube light that had been up for years, but had issues with starting, even though the starters and tubes had been replaced. This fitting was very easy to understand in terms of how to install it and simple to actually install. Good quality tooMy only concern is that I did not read the text on the tubes properly. You MUST install the tubes the correct way round, else they will not work. Just be aware of thatTime will tell how well it performs I guess
