We got this because it wasn’t super expensive and it was very cute. But once we tried to actually use it, it’s not practical. The sound is so loud, too loud for a sleeping baby. The stars only turn on when the sound is on, so we can’t use that either. And all he can see when he is laying under it is the bottom of the balls. It would have been much better if there were designs he could look at and enjoy. Would have returned but by the time we actually used it, it was too late.

The one we received was used?i ordered it months before our baby was due, It’d been opened and not put back properly. It made a catching noise as soon as we tried it so we changed the batteries. It never worked right. It was too long after purchasing to return it so I just threw it away.

The monkey piece that holds tiny balls in a small plastic bubble quickly broke loose shifting the bubble to spill all of the tiny balls all over the baby's crib. Obviously a major choking Hazard. Luckily we didn't seem to have any repercussions but knowing this is possible makes this not worth purchasing. The. Bubble piece holding the balls seemed to just barely be glued Into place allowong it to break free. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.Even when working the mobile spun much slower than anticipated and seemed to sit high or lower than we preferred.

We only uses for a little bit and then had to get rid of it. We have a sleigh style crib and so it would not sit straight on any of the sides. You really need a straight bar for this machine. Whether it was because it was slanted or because it's the machine it would make a grinding sound when it would turn and keep me in my husband up. Took down immediately

Baby didnt like it at all. I wanted to but the sound was horrible. I returned and got a fisher price on with animals and my baby just loves it. Skip this one and get one that is great from start. It does cost more but its much more entertaining and puts them to sleep. Even my husband said it was worth the $50.

This was larger than I expected but that's a good thing. I like that the three "arms" each make different rattling sounds so even without batteries the toy should be entertaining. The melodies are nice except for the "happy mode" which is a little annoying to me. There are only two volume settings low or high, but it isn't bad and it spins at a very slow pace. I haven't given birth yet so I'll update this when I get reactions from my baby

All in all it looks great, but unfortunately only lasted a few months. The mobile won't rotate anymore and the tune doesn't keep going rather it plays for a little and restarts so sounds like a broken record. That's the bottom line

I really liked this toy and was looking forward to using it. When my baby was old enough I got it out of the box, but the rubbed backing quickly became loose and it became impossible to hang safely (because it doesn't stay in place). I am sad because now it's too late to return. If you have a come up with a better solution as a company I would love to have the updated version. I am really said to have spent money on this and I can't use it.
