3'0 Single Mission Storage Bed in Honey with 3 Drawer Storage

This bed was a good buy. It arrived within the 2 week timeframe given by the suppliers and was complete and undamaged. Assembly was straightforward and all dowels, bolts and screws were included. Instructions were easy to follow and all dowels bolts and screws were identified with a letter both on the packet and in the instructions so that it was not possible to get mixed up. I assembled it myself in a few hours and the only problem I had was that one of the drawer bottoms needed a bit shaving off before it would fit. Possibly a cutting error at the time of manufacture. Two of the Allen screw holes in the drawer assembly were to large and deeded some wire and glue to get a tight fit. Otherwise no faults or problems. Yje only addition I thought might be a good one was that on one side were fitted the 3 drawers but nothing on the other. It would be possible to fit 3 more drawers on the other side. I e mailed a number of suppliers including the importers and got some response. However no one could supply an upgrade kit and the only hope would be to buy a second bed, use all 6 drawers and sell the other bed as one without any drawers. Alright if I had known anyone who wanted such a bed. So, I eventually gave up and made a panel for the other side myself and used 3 under bed storage boxes behind it. I was mildly surprised to find that the slats were quite strong. After reading accounts about these being weak I even hung on to one in the garage and found that even one on its own would support my weight. One was fixed every 50mm on the bed and so I cannot imagine what weight would be needed to break these. I also bought the budget price mattress and this was also a good buy and expect it to last for many years. These beds are sold all over the internet and shopping around could get the price down. The delivery from this company was fantastic, I hadn't paid for one day delivery so was very surprised when I was informed within 2 days of ordering that it had arrived. Considering the cost of it the quality was excellent. There was a problem with the inside of one of the draws, it looked as if when it went through production something had caught on it, but because it was never going to be seen we didn't worry about it, that is my only criticism of the product. There was no problems with assembly and all the pieces went together very well. It is assembled and ready for the mattress to be put on it later. We are very happy with the finish.

very efficient delivery packaged well to avoid damage this is very important as the amount of items that come damaged is very time consuming and I believe time is money. very sturdy worth paying that little bit extra as this should last many years if used for its purpose…..sleeping in not bouncing on. very easy to put together took husband about an hour bear in mind we are all at different levels in D.I.Y so could take longer or could be quicker. I personally think the draws are a good size the length of the draws go back halfway in the bed. I think £150 would be a more reasonable price for my budget also buying the mattress separately keeps the price down. We bought this bed for our 5 year old. It's a nice bed, looks good, is easy to put together (provided there are two of you) and has space for him to put his toys in the drawers underneath - nice space saving. The delivery was great. It was with us within 48 hours, you don't get service like that if you go into a bed shop and order a bed.However a slat broke after only a month when he was jumping on the bed. In the short term I've moved the slat that was at the very end of the bed to replace the broken one, but I would have though the slats would withstand a few kids jumping on them, which is what kids do.

The bed is attractive looking - although it is a orange-brown lacquer rather than a stain. This makes it look more 'honey' than 'pine'. However, although the footboard of the bed appears to be tongue and groove pine in the photos it is actually a thin sheet of ply with lines scored in the surface and the inner ply sheet is clearly visible in those lines. Also, the drawers are considerably smaller than the photo implies. The drawer front pieces are roughly twice the area of the actual drawer openings. The drawer bottoms are ply - about three mm thick and easy to bed with your hands. Probably stronger once assembled but don't inspire much confidence. Note that one side of the bed takes the drawers but the other side is open. Bedsulike were very good with us and took the return with a full refund.

Excellent bed, it would have been really easy to put together if 2 of the nuts had threads, had to go out to purchase extra ones as the bed was almost completely assembled by time I came across the faulty nuts. Anyway the bed is now up, looks really nice and my son loves it.

Well done Beds U Like - what great service ! The bed arrived very quickly - in great condition and very well packed (not acres of cardboard and polystyrene, but intelligently packed to arrive safely.The instructions were simple and easy to follow with an Allen key included. The only tools required were a small hammer and a screwdriver. The pack even had two spacers for easily spacing-out the bed slats.I put the bed together easily without a second pair of hands and all the parts were there and all the holes and studs lined-up perfectly.Very happy with this purchase and more than happy to recommend the supplier.

Sturdy bed that came the day after I ordered. It's a slight yellow pine though so the picture is a little deceiving. I have also only given 4* because no instructions came with it but saying that it was pretty simple to put up even for me a 30 year old lady putting it up on my own (go me) :)
