Fogarty Pure Wool Duvet - Super King

Being of a certain age, our sleeping patterns over the last few years have been a nightmare. Me constantly flicking duvet on and off to cool me down and my husband grumbling and being disturbed. Close up cuddling was impossible and we had an ongoing debate about summer versus winter duvets. Eureka, we found the Fogarty Pure Wool Duvet and it has changed our lives:) The arrival was prompt, the presentation good and no smell (as per some comments). After the first night I got used to the gentle rustling sound when moving and the slightly heavier weight, but wow, it has been a great buy. It controls both our temperatures and allows close up cuddling and I haven't had any night sweats/hot flushes during sleep. We also feel we are sleeping more deeply than before. Highly recommended.

Fab concept. I bought one of these years ago when they first came on the market and I've just replaced it for a new one. It really works for me. I dislike being too hot in bed and with regular duvets, I was always awake half the night throwing the duvet off because I was too hot, then freezing and having to put it back on again, especially in winter. My woollen duvet keeps me at the right temperature right through the night and I enjoy the best nights sleep I've had in ages. I wouldn't use anything else now.

I have waited a while to write a review on this. The reason I purchased it was because of all the reviews that it helped by regulating your body temperature. I have been suffering badly with hot flushes at night and saw this as a solution to this awful problem.I can honestly say that it has not worked at all not one bit.People have said about the sound it makes yes it does and no you don’t get used to it and it doesn’t soften either. Sorry I have to write a negative review. I could have put up with the noise and how heavy it is if it had worked but sadly not

After reading previous reviews thought this would be what we were looking for.It is rather heavy and find it does not fold around you. Find you have to pull it hard to bring it up from the bottom of the bed.It feels like a 13.5 tog to warm for me. Much prefer a soft 10.5 tog. It would diffinately be to hot for the summer. In my opinion not an all year round duvet. So will no doubt have to use a lighter one in the summer. Would not buy another one.Money not well spent.

No need for tog rating as they adjust to the heat your body needs. Fine for summer and winter. Would not go back to other quilts. Easy to wash.

Great duvet! Nothing like real sheep's wool, natural fibers made from sustainable farming with high ethical animal welfare. Well made and high quality.

I've had this for 3 years and absolutely love it. Great, dense feel and keeps me the perfect temperature all year round. I could never go back to a more traditional duvet after this.

I have been thinking about getting one of these wool duvets for years and saw this at such a good price compared to others. Am after a few weeks use really delighted with it. From the first night found it kept me just the right temperature and was really lightweight but kind of comforting at the same time. May now get the pillows as well.
