THE METAL ONE IS BETTER
The metal Pinard's gives a much clearer pitch than this plastic one. Clearly there are lots of things that can influence the clarity of the fetal heart when auscultating with a Pinard's (fetal poles, the lie etc), however even with the "difficult" auscultations the metal instrument it still gives a clearer sound than with the plastic model. The seller was slow in responding to queries and ended up sending me the wrong colour.
