Time, Knuckle, and Money Saver
On some GM cars, the radiator drain plug is located on the bottom corner of the radiator above the radiator support. As a result, they are very difficult to get to. In addition, the part of the plug that sticks out is a cross pattern rather than just a flat piece. Because it's not flat, and it's difficult to get to, using a pair of pliers to open them is difficult. This tool made my life a lot easier. It fits perfectly on this plug and most likely all other drain petcocks.

This tool can save your from alot of agony.
I have an old 1970s Cadillac with a aftermarket aluminum radiator, and the drain cock in it just happens to be in the prefect place where you can barely get to it and it has a brake line right in front of it, limiting access with pliers. This tool saved my butt and I would recommend that every shade tree mechanic has it in their toolbox.

Quick to Corrode
This tool really starts to corrode quickly! One photo was taken the day I received this, as my brother and I like to inform each other about tools and other new things we get to make working in the garage easier. After a few weeks of sitting in my tool box drawer, which all have liners and stored within an attached garage, this adapter caught my attention before I was going to drain my wife's radiator because I noticed how much corrosion was on it after such a short time period of ownership. It still works but I am unsure what it will look like in a few years if it is already starting to rust out after a few weeks.

Worth the money.
I own over a $1000.00 worth of mechanic tools and this drain plug socket was the only way to get my radiator drain plug loose. It''s a little spendy ,but the cost was worth it. A+++
