Liberally apply to clean skin 15 -30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 30 minutes to 1 hour throughout the day while exposed to the sun and each time after swimming, towel drying or sweating. For daily use, allow the product to absorb completely before applying make-up. For use on children 6 months and older. For face and body.

An SPF number is multiplied by the time that individual can stay in the sun without sunscreen before he starts to burn. So if a particular individual burns without sunscreen in 20 minutes, an SPF 28 product would allow him to be in the sun 28 times before burning, that is, 560 minutes. An SPF 30 product would allow him to stay in the sun 30 times the time he would start to burn, that is 30 times 20 is 600 minutes. That's ten hours,and it seems like a lot. The thing is, we are advised to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours anyway, so why use the 30 instead of 28 SPF? It is still worth going with the SPF 30 because that is the minimum SPF recommended by American Academy of Dermatology."}}]}]}
