These books are great! The stories are engaging, funny and perfect for emerging readers. Some of the reviews for this series say that the books rhyme too much and the stories don't make sense. I think the opposite. They rhyme just enough for kids to notice word patterns, and the stories are much more coherent than some other early readers we have. "Stan and Dan are twins who swim fast. They are glad to test who is best."Best of all, my 6 year old thinks the stories are hilarious, crabs with long hair, cats who sail boats, foxes who play baseball etcc

Kids like it and want to read it, but they stories are choppy and incoherent. I would not recommend it.
