Baa, Baa, Black Sheep!: BSL (Sign & Singalong)

This "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep!" book is a great tool for helping my toddler with his speech delay. The simple text and easy-to-follow signs make it perfect for practicing at home. My son loves the familiar song and the colorful illustrations. It's a great way to incorporate sign language into his daily routine.

I have bought other books in this series and they are excellent.Our two year old son loves these books and they are very durable...thoroughly recommended to other parents looking to teach sign language and also just for a good educational read or simply telling a story and teaching recognition and language skills.Recommended!

Really big board book. Signs are quite easy to figure out from pictures, but not all the signs for the rhyme are included. I use cbeebies YouTube channel alongside the books.

This is a very attractive picture book version of "Baa, baa, black sheep" in durable board book format, complete with sign language illustrations. The slightly cartoon-ish pictures of young children and sheep are nice for little ones to relate to. As with other books from the series, the illustrations of children making the signs tend to take priority over the illustrations to accompany the song. But this is not necessarily a bad thing: there are lots of books of nursery rhymes out there, but not so many that show pictures of children signing!If you're a sign language beginner it can, initially at least, be slightly awkward to sing/repeat the rhyme, sign, look at the book and turn pages: but it doesn't take long to adapt!

my nephew was learning to sign and he loved these sing along books. He also took them to his school and the other kids loved joining in to!

I thought the book was a 'singing' book, complete with music, my fault as I must have misunderstood but was disappointed when it came.
