How many times have you heard..."Your call is being recorded for training & security reasons"? Well I've found a way of recording them! Use a v basic tape recorder & clip this microphone close to the phone....even better if you have a speaker phone. The reason I suggest a "basic" tape recorder is that digital and hi-fi types are hackable & may not be admissible in court. This mic does the business!!

If you're thinking you might buy this just because you need a microphone and it's really cheap, you'd be better off attaching a USB port to a stick wrapped in some toilet roll. At least then you'd have something that looks better.Ok, I'll admit the sound quality is only a bit worse than that of the iPhone 5C, but that's only if you can hear it.It feels like this microphone was designed to be put in your mouth when you're using it, as that is practically the only way I managed to hear anything from it (I'm being serious).Sanyo, there are better ways to "eliminate background noise" than making me ingest your product.

This item did not work on arrival. Due to the small cost it was not worth sending back to the vendor.

Was not sure about this because of the low price. But it arrived early and does the job that I wanted it to do. No point in paying the high prices some other brands ask for. Would recommend.

I bought this mic to use with my Olympus dictaphone so that I could record interviews and for other uses. It worked perfectly and with far better quality out-put than I was expecting given the price. Simply a must for anyone who needs to record their conversations or ideas.
