Josef Koudelka: Exiles

Koudelka’s photography is sublime. This book along with another of his books Gypsies are two of my favourite photo books of all time. Stunning images. Buy it and enjoy it if you are into photography.

At last such an important artifact in my library!

Book was a present for my son. It came in a sealed film so looked ok. When opened it was not in new condition as listed. Not worth returning as onward postage prohibited. I have had second hand books in better condition.

One of the most important books of photographs published. If you're remotely interested in photography, an essential addition to your library.

I'm a bit disappointed. I've seen and enjoyed a lot of Koudelka's work over the years but apart from the classic famous shots in here the rest is a bit underwhelming. Even taking into account the age, history of the genre and his reputation there's a lot of very ordinary uninspiring pictures in this book.
