Do you use it with coil cover on will it effect results

No, the coil cover will not affect detection performance at all! It is recommended to use coil cover all the time to protect the coil.

As my friends grandchildren aged 9 and 10 have used it quite often they don't seem to find the weight overbearing. You would add or decrease weight by which head you fitted.

Is this detecter good to start on?

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It’s very easy to use. It’s worth the money as it discriminates between different metals and allows you to notch out ferrous metals and focus on more interesting targets. On the first day we used it on the beach and found a few coins. It’s fun, easy to use and worth the money

Does this metal detector work on sand. A beach.

Hello ., Yes it does wonders on the beach it can be submerged with surfs water. I have found many bullets and main coins some deep down in the sand and I would say keep the guard on the base when on beach and clean after wards due to the salt.. Even works ok on pebble beach , you may laugh but not all beach are sound. But I love mine and its dose all I ask from it. so enjoy it if you buy it... a good luck my friend.
