Does what it says on the tin. Cant say how long it will last but it look reasonable substantial. The only area of concern is it does not include a sealing grommet where the cable enters the underside of the unit.So you will have to obtain one or use a suitable amount of silcone compound.

This gizmo does a good job, but it proved to be tricky to set up. One must be very careful to ensure that the cables are connected properly, especially as the usual cable colours do not always give a guide. However, it coped - just didn't work until I had sorted that out!
