La amo!!! Al principio cuesta un poco entender tanta tecnología y su configuración pero ya después es una maravilla, deja muy limpio el piso y el mapeo lo define de manera precisa. Puedo salir y dejarla trabajar sin problema 👍

I’ve been using the iRobot Roomba Combo i5+ for a little while now... First off, the design is pretty sleek and compact. It’s small enough to slide under most furniture and reach spots that are usually hard to clean with a regular vacuum. That’s been a big help in keeping dust bunnies at bay in those tricky corners. What really sets this model apart for me is the dual functionality — it vacuums and mops. I like that I can switch between vacuuming and mopping depending on what the floor needs. The interchangeable bins make this pretty straightforward. The vacuum does a solid job picking up dust and pet hair, while the mop function gives my floors a decent wipe-down, which is great for everyday maintenance. Just don’t expect it to replace a deep mop job when there’s serious grime. One of the features I appreciate most is automatic dirt disposal. The robot empties itself into a sealed bag that can hold up to 60 days’ worth of dirt, so I’m not constantly emptying it after every use. It is super convenient. It’s also impressively quiet compared to my old vacuum. I can run it while working or watching TV without being distracted by loud noise. That’s a big plus if you have pets or kids. Of course, no product is perfect. I’ve noticed that the mop sometimes leaves streaks if the floor is too dirty or sticky, so I still have to do occasional manual mopping. Also, while it’s great on hard floors and low-pile carpets, it struggles a bit on thicker rugs. Overall, the Roomba Combo i5+ has made cleaning easier and less time-consuming for me. It’s not a complete replacement for manual cleaning, but it’s a solid assistant that helps keep my home tidy on a regular basis. If you’re looking for a robot that can handle both vacuuming and mopping without too much fuss, this one’s worth considering.

This is the updated version from my 2nd generation one. Love the empty its self trash can. This version cleans more in straight lines so it doesn’t seem to miss anything. I have not used mopping feature on this one. 2 years ago i bought newest model for three family members as gifts and they absolutely loved it. This model replaced my 2nd generation model. I had it for a few months 8 months to be exact. And all of a sudden it would only spin in circles. I called IRobot no hassles, no inconvenience they shipped me out a brand new one. No charge until broke one was shipped back. Just shipped brand new one with return label for defective one. IRobot is good company and seems to stand by their products.

I just wrote a review for another robot vacuum you can see on my profile. This Roomba was a replacement for that other one that I wasn't a big fan of. I figured, fine, I will drop the money for the big name. It will do great. Boy was I wrong. This thing was a nightmare. It has tortured us for the last week. It is now back in its box ready to go the return drop off, and yet a third robot vacuum just arrived to replace it - we shall see. I am on an unintended journey of robot vacuums. But, back to this one. I knew it should have been a bad sign when, after initial setup and charging, the first mapping run (which took almost two hours and produced a lot of noise and irritation since we were home during) didn't produce a map. Like, what? So I reran it the next day and it finally made a map. Great. I finally got a chance to let it clean, then, after several days of mucking with the map stuff. And it completely ignored the map. It went into areas not on the map. It skipped whole parts of the mapped area despite them being included in the job. It would do half the job and go home and proclaim proudly via notification that it had "saved me a trip to the bin" as it emptied itself - and decided it was done for the day. I would have to restart the job, only to have it try and jam itself into an accidentally open closet door - an area it shouldn't go anyway, because it is not on the map - and I'd have to rescue it. One day it actually followed my wife into the guest bedroom that is rarely used and so not on the cleaning plan for the robot - she had earbuds in so she didn't hear it. It snuck in behind her in the minute or two she had the door open. We found it later, jammed under the guest bed frame, gunning its little engine trying to get more jammed as we watched. Wow. Besides just utterly disregarding its own map and my cleaning orders, this robot demonstrated none of the features that it claimed to have. Obstacle avoidance? It would, every time, seek out obstacles like dog toys, shoes, the dogs themselves, and run into them. Unlike my previous vacuum, that would just bump its way around obstacles, this one would freeze in confusion, and seemingly forget where it had meant to go. It would turn around and wander back to places already cleaned. Cord avoidance? It actually seemed to enjoy shoving itself under my credenza / TV stand and eating the small IR repeater wires. I had to re-do those multiple times. Finally, I made a new "room" that included that corner of the larger family room. I would specifically NOT include that area in jobs going forward. But, as it didn't care about my cleaning wishes nor its own map, it would go under anyway and entangle itself, again, for fun I think. Dirt event mapping? This feature purports to highlight areas of extra dirt so it can focus on it. We have three pets and so there are definitely, undoubtedly areas of extra dirt in the house. Under the bed in the carpeted bedroom, for example. But after a week of use it never once called out a "dirt event". Bizarre. I will stop there. In the end, this was just a disaster of an experience. We got so much more consternation and frustration out of wrangling this robot and fixing stuff behind it, all the while with it failing to even vacuum what we wanted, than if we had just vacuumed ourself. Isn't the future marvelous?? I was tempted to try and get back my old vacuum - but I gave it to my dad and I am not like that. He's happy with it in his pet-less home. Now, instead, I am trying a third brand. Wish me luck.
