Amazing flavors, and not hot
This has amazing flavors, to be sure. It is amongst the most flavorsome ajvars I've found. It is not, however, anything approximating hot for heat lovers.However, if you drop in several tablespoons of Marie Sharpe's super hot habanero and more or less a half cup of sriracha, you will get complimentary flavors and some bite from the habanero. This stuff is ludicrously expensive here; for comparison, our regional European grocer in Torrance sells it for under $10. So unless you are dozens of miles from a good Euro-goods purveyor, opt for that instead. Otherwise, feel comfortable that you are getting top-notch ajvar from Macedonia for the $$.

Excellent ajvar
Years ago, I was on assignment in what was once Yugoslavia for many months. While there, I learned about ajvar and grew to love it. I sampled the ajvar from several areas, including Bulgaria, and found Macedonian ajvar to be the best. Perustija ajvar is excellent Macedonian ajvar. My wife and I might disagree with the "super hot" label (while fairly hot, we would prefer it to be yet hotter but we do realize that for a number of people, this super hot is hot enough). Our first order was for 5 jars. We went through those fast enough that we are now ordering it in 10 jar quantities.We have never tried the mild, so will not comment on it.By the way, they wrap the jars extremely well for shipping.

I absolutely loved it! It’s what I ate growing up. The only reason i haven’t ordered more is, it’s too expensive! If you lower the price, I’ll have it delivered monthly! Not just one jar a month but 5 to 10 a month!

Good for weight loss diet
Not only is this Ajvar delicious it has less calories and fat than mayonnaise. Use it on sandwiches instead of mayo. Adds zest and flavor without as many calories. Also available in regular flavor for those who do not like it hot.

Medium spicy and DELICIOUS! very authentic tasting
I was afraid that this "super hot" ajvar would be too much heat but it's more like medium or even mild in spiciness.This is by far the best ajvar I have had so far. This tastes like the real deal. Highly recommend.

It Tasted good, but??
Very good flavor, but far from hot. There was what I would call a hint of heat which was enjoyable. But I would not call this super hot!
