It is a medium level of sturdiness. For home use, we have been enjoying it for many seasons. For carnival use, I don't know if anything on the market would be sturdier, but one might want to find it if he or she could.

How far back should people stand to toss the bags?

We use the soak n wet at our elementary school, K through 5th graders. We have them stand back approximately 10 feet. Occasionally we have to remind the older ones just to toss not beem it at the target.

Does this come apart easily for storage? I would like to take it apart daily after use?
