Hummel Men's High Hi-Top Slippers

Nice shoe. I am used to wearing bikes. Not an athletic shoe, but a nice shoe.

Bomb sneakers. They are all I will wear now.

These are really nice, comfortable trainers and well worth the price. The top is canvas, and according to the label, the trim and white stripes are leather (its hard to tell nowadays), the black trim is suede or nubuck, the white stripes are normal leather and they have padding at the back of the ankle, which is also smooth material, and should be leather, as the label lists only canvas and leather for tops (the covering of the padding doesn't feel like leather, though). Insides are canvas and soles are rubber. They felt quite large at first, but I usually use insoles anyway, and once a pair of only slightly padded insoles were inserted, they fit perfectly and feel very comfortable to wear. They don't come up really high, just above the ankle bone, and the gap between the laces is quite wide at 4.5 cm at the front end (towards toes). The tongue sits nicely once they're laced up, and doesn't "crumple" at the top, which I find some do with high-tops with me, which causes uncomfortable lumps. The laces are nice and long, and they arrived well padded in a standard shoe box within another box. They feel and look quite well made, and overall, am very pleased with these.

Love these shoes. They are fairly light weight canvas so perfect for summer. Good quality but I've only had them a week so can't say how long they will last.Only thing to be wary of is the size and fit. Length is what you'd expect from a dc or nike but they are narrow. I usually get an 8-8.5 but went for a 9 here and was right to do so, although a bit long they only just fit across the width.

***Nachtrag*** Nach nicht einmal 3 Wochen löst sich die Sohle. Völliges Unverständnis... Geht somit zurück***Seit mehr als 10 Jahren trage ich nur Hummel Slimmer Stadil High. Anscheinend wurde nun der Schnitt und das Material geändert. Auf dem Foto sieht man es recht gut. In der Mitte der neue blaue Hummel, an den Seiten ältere Modelle. Der Rauledersaum ist nun viel weiter oben, die obere Stofffläche kleiner. Dies lässt den Schuh billig wirken. Auch der Stoff ist nun ein anderer, er ist dicker und somit steifer. Das wiederum bewirkt, dass er nach ein paar Mal tragen Falten wirft. Auch sind die Schuhe irgendwie größer und durch das dickere Material viel wärmer. Habe erst gedacht, dass es sich um Plagiate handelt und habe ein Paar zurückgesandt und nochmals bestellt, aber keine Änderung.Ich hoffe, dass sich das wieder ändert, ansonsten werden es keine Hummel mehr. Echt schade...

Took a while to break in, but as they are canvas this should be expected. Quite comfortable after a week or so. They seem to attract dirt though but are easily cleaned. Will probably buy another pair.

this is my 5th pair of these trainers. perfectly comfortable from day 1. no rubbing, no need to break in, just brilliant.
