Great for Warhammer & board Game models as well! They absolutely live up to the hype!
These polishing tools are fantastic for cleaning up the mold lines and sprue marks for Warhammer models from GW. I never knew these existed and now that I do, I will never go back to traditional sandpaper. These Stedi tempered glass tools polish to an incredibly smooth detail, are amazingly easy to clean, and are incredibly sharp while also being safe to the touch. With proper care they will last you a lifetime, just be aware that they ARE still glass so be careful dropping them from any distance as some reviewers report they're fragile. This set is a great starter set, gives you plenty of versatilty for different models. After using these, I was literally in awe of how I managed without them given how much time they saved me - a few passes over a mold line or sprue nub and the plastic is smooth as a flat panel. Just incredible. I was so impressed I even went ahead and picked up the two Stedi 3-packs here on Amazon; the "#320-400 Grit, #400-600Grit, #10000 Grit" step set for the lower grit options when dealing with larger chunks, and the "#600-800 Grits, Anti-Slip Comfortable Grip" for the needle nose version for those smaller, tighter, harder to get areas on a model. Highly recommend you complete the set as well. Can't say enough about these!

Excellent precision polishing files, use them wet
These are excellent polishing tools. One important thing to know is that they are directional, and in my experience they work considerably better when used wet. On models, they can take a properly prepared surface all the way to an extremely smooth, almost glass-like finish. They're especially useful when I want to remove very fine sanding marks rather than continue removing significant material. I even used one very carefully on the display surface of one of my 3D printers to remove some dried resin. It allowed me to gradually work the resin off, and afterward the surface was smooth with no visible scratches. That's not necessarily how everyone should use them, but it demonstrated to me just how fine the polishing surface is. For precision model work, they've become very useful finishing tools.

Worth the money
This is a game changer for smoothing 3d prints. But better option than sandpaper alone also much better than metal files. Nice case too

I HIGHLY recommend these for Gunpla and plamo.
I Highly recommend these. Great for removing nub marks on gunpla. Very easy to clean and last FOREVER. I have used this file set on my gunpla for over a year, when the ridges clog up, I just run them under water, or run a toothbrush between the ridges. Cuts like new afterwards everytime. Stedi is out here changing the game.

Effective and Precise Polishing Tools for Model Work
The STEDI polishing tools are a very useful addition for anyone working on scale models or detailed hobby projects. They are designed to help refine surfaces and achieve a smoother, more polished finish, especially on transparent or glossy parts. In use, the tools feel precise and allow good control, which is important when working on small or delicate model components. They are effective for gradually removing imperfections and improving clarity without being overly aggressive, as long as you take your time and work carefully. The build quality feels solid and reliable, and the tools are comfortable to handle during longer sessions. They make a noticeable difference in the final appearance of parts that require a clean, professional-looking finish.

Effective but there's definitely a wrong way to use them
They are a bit hard to use compared to normal files so I wish they had some kind of instructions included but once you get used to them they are quite nice

Fantastic polishers
I never knew I needed these until I got them in hand. Now, I want more. They are exceptional at smoothing and polishing plastic. I'm using them for 3D printed parts, but as long as you stick to soft materials, they should work no problem. Pro:They come in reusable plastic containers. These are a must as you should never let the polishers hit each other, nor anything hard. The pattern for each grit range is easily identifiable. There is no need to read the label on the smooth side of the polisher to know whichgrit you have in your hand. Cons: The two coarse polishers have a different grit on either end. There is no way that I can see to identify which is which without running your finger other it. There should be an indention or bevel on one end as an identifier. I'm just going to try marking it with a high quality glass pen. Also, the polishers are at their core just special files. This means they need a file card to keep them clean and free of obstructions. The first couple items I tried to polish turned out terrible, as the polisher fouled out and drug a set of deep scratches into the surface. This kit should include an appropriate brush to clean the polishers as they are being used. One other change I would like to see is different patterns for the grits to allow for a better range of material harnesses. In this regards, these polishers are in a very early stage of development. I hope they catch on so we can have more variety. TLDR: I love them and will buy more!

Bella scoperta

Great product
Not easy to use but once you get the hang of it, I could get great results. You still need to be careful with the edges. Wet the product prior usage and clean it constantly for better results

Great for gunpla
I use these for gunpla (gundam plastic model) kits and they work very well. Pros: - The two lower grit files (320-400 and 400-600) are the ones i use most often for filing down nubs and excess plastic, doing a much quicker job than sand paper/sponges. - The 10,000 grit file is great for finishing, leaving a nice glossy finish - Good value, if taken care will last longer than sand paper and sponges Caveats >>> not bad hence 5 stars, but limitations and things to know about before hand: - For gunpla, have a small vessel of water to submerge these files in + dry cloth/kitchen roll as these will help prevent mess from sanding down plastics + inhalation - These files sand plastics very fast but due to their size are more adept at working on larger pieces of plastics rather than small intricate pieces, so be wary when working on smaller parts such as the helmet as they will eat into the plastics very quickly and smoothly which may ruin the kit (telling from experience) - In addition to the latter, would recommend buying dspiaes sanding sponge set both low grit (both the 180-800 grit and 1000-2500 grit) for more intricate pieces + working gradually to higher grits will also help the 10k glass file achieve the glossy finish
