Have been doing some major remodeling in our house. This item has saved me a tone of time. Easy to use and accurate. A few things I have used this to measure, our windows for new custom blinds which fit beautifully. Also used to measure for new counter top estimate. Professional was impressed by how close we were in our measurements, we were only off because we did not deduct for cut out area like sink and stove. I would highly recommend this item.

Unfortunately the item did not power on. Tried several sets of batteries but did not work. I see some have had the same experience, and no doubt there is a problem in the power switch with some of these items. Unfortunately given it did not work I have no option but to give it a low rating. Nothing against the supplying company, i have returned the item and not asked for a replacement as I have found it easier and safer to order a different one.

I wanted a way to measure a room for renovations. I am not in the trade, just for personal use. This neat laser measure really does the job. I checked the measurements and very accurate too. Definately recommend.

Saves a lot of time and energy for a one man job. Also reliable and accurate! Would recommend for DIY!

Looks good not used it yet was to replace old one that got lost. Good deli wry no complaints

Nice size, seemed accurate.The 'measure' button was never reliable, needing several hard presses to actually make a measurement. Within a month of purchase it's stopped functioning altogether, won't power on - I guess the power/measure button has totally failed. Returning it to Amazon for refund.

Ich habe nun etwas damir rumgespielt und vor allem das wichtigstem nämlich die Genauigkeit geprüft. Anfangs war ich erschrocken, weil das Gerät eine Abweichungen bei Strecken bis 1m von 2-3mm hat. Später habe ich mir dann die Anleitung in Ruhe angesehen und die Möglichkeit entdeckt das Gerät zu kalibrieren, indem man einen Offset von ±7mm eingeben kann. Nachdem ich das ganze dann um 3mm verschoben haben passen die Messergebnisse nun im Bereich ±1mm, so wie man das erwarten würde. Jedenfalls ab 200mm. Darunter fällt die Präzision stark ab, bei 150mm habe ich 5mm Abweichung! Unter 140mm kann gar nicht mehr gemessen werden.Übrigens gibt es auch eine hilfreiche Dauermessfunktion, indem man die Messtaste lange gedrückt hält. Meiner Meinung nach äußerst nützlich!4/5 Sternen, weil das Gerät nicht ordentlich vorkalibriert war, und es unter 200mm zu deutliche Abweichungen kommt. Für den Preis aber absolut empfehlenswert.

This is very small unit and considerably so compared to others, so it's great in that respect. Instructions are inadequate and unclear, but easy to use for straight distance measurement. It seems to be accurate - I verified against a measuring tape....Off by less than a cm, but it depends on how the instrument is held and positioned, so I'd say it's quite accurate.Worth the value for the money and does the job like higher models do as well.

Love this little unit. I use it frequently as a Listing Real Estate Agent and it saves me lots of time! Accurate & well priced.Totally meets my needs. I wish I had purchased this years ago!

Works great, i like all the features it has, would buy again, and highly recommend, compared measurements to an actual measuring tape and it was exactly the same.

Good unit for the price. Very compact design.

Very pleased with the product. Works great, accuracy appears to be good, I like the features (include the length of the unit in a measurement, or exclude; calculate the area or volume; on the fly change of measurement units; continuous measure, ext). Have been playing with it quite a bit and the more I use it, the more I like it. Great for very short or quite long distances. And I can now measure everything without help! No need for someone else to hold another end of the tape! The only minus is the atrocious English of the instruction manual. Could not figure out some things.

Geez, this thing is high-tech and appears to be well made. I really needed an accurate measuring device for some rooms in my house that were getting the carpet replaced with wood floor. The accuracy and was amazing and it was very easy to use right out of the box after reading the directions - and I'm not a professional remodeler. Although I only used the area tool, it will automatically calculate area based on your length and width measurements, it also does the same for volume. It even has a nifty advanced feature, using the "Pythagorean Theorem" to calculate a triangle and measure distance to an object that is not in direct sight. Don't understand the theorem but like the results. Pretty impressive for low cost.

I do cabinets and it's not accurate enough about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch off on all measurements .... for a rough in would be good

Works ok. Instructions would be nice.
