That along with the device fee, activation fee, a couple of unexplained "Fleet" fees I have invested over $300 on this. I worked for a few days and then stopped working. I have numerous tech support tickets in with no success. I called customer support during their very very very narrow live support hours (5 hours a day) 10AM-3PM Monday through Friday. Support Ticket One: I asked if there was a difference between having a Consumer Login since I had bought the Fleet device. They never answered the question, instead they switched my account from "Consumer" to "Fleet" - they charged my $30 for that - I didn't ask or authorize them to do that, I simply asked if there was a difference - which they never answered. I don't know why there would be different logins based on whether you have a fleet or consumer device anyhow. By them doing this, the device stopped tracking Support Ticket Two: I asked why the changed my account from Consumer to Fleet in the first place, because doing so prevented the device from tracking. Based on that they said it would go to "Tier 2" support. Which it never did. 3 days later, I called tech support during their very M-F hours and got a human who I could barely understand. Short story about that call, after arguing with this person for about 15 minutes, he finally saw what might be a problem and said he would call me back after 15 minutes. I might have missed that call, but was not concerned because what ever he did allowed the device to be tracking my vehicle Support Ticket Three: Three days later the device stopped tracking again. I log a support ticket and their answer was to do a power cycle reboot - which I did with no luck. After two days of going back and forth with the trouble ticket, I called Customer support and this time went to sale support. Again, another person whom I could barely understand. The short of it is she told me my login account was deactivated even though the device was active, no explanation as to why. She said she reactivated my account and that I should again to a power cycle reboot, which I did with no luck She also told me if I wanted a refund to send an email to [email protected] since I told he my account no longer had the link to cancel. That was three days ago, I haven't heard back from them at all. At this point, I'm resigned to the fact that I just spent a bit over $300 to have my delivery vehicle tracked for a few days. I hope I get a refund, but I'm not betting on it. My advice, stay away from this company - If I get a full refund, I'll update my review

Does The Job
We have equipped several of our vehicles with Vyncs trackers. They work well. The Vyncs website is slow, and tech support takes a day or two to respond. We will buy again if we add more vehicles.

Excellent Company GPS
We use these on all of our company trucks, vans, box trucks, etc. And we love them!! Pricing is excellent and it is a quality product. The dash board interface is user friendly and it will track everything you need for business logistics and costs. I highly recommend them if you have a small or medium size business.

Device Becomes Permanently Useless After Expiration – Very Disappointing Policy
I’m leaving this review to warn future customers. I purchased this device outright, assuming I owned the hardware. However, after missing a renewal by a few months, the device was permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated under any circumstances — even though the hardware is still fully functional. What makes this worse is that purchasing a new device costs the same as a renewal, but they also charge an additional activation fee. In other words, instead of reactivating a device you already paid for, they force you to buy another one. Support was extremely frustrating. The chat provided no real help, repeatedly redirected me to broken links and ticket forms that didn’t work, and appeared to be automated. There was no clear technical explanation, only repeated policy statements. This is something customers should know before buying. If you ever let your subscription expire, expect to be forced to purchase a new device rather than reactivating the one you already own. Very disappointing experience.

Scam!
We purchased 9 of these units to track our fleet. They worked for a few days and then we were unable to log into our account and cannot get any one on the phone to help.

Does not work. Not user friendly
I will update if needed. But for now 1 star UPDATE 6/25/21: so the company responded back after trying to return these. They said to email them the pertinent info. Of course the day they decide to email, either tech support manually inputed my data, or the system updated and corrected itself. I’m assuming the system corrected itself, because whenever tech support responds back to you, you get notified via email that there’s a message waiting for you. And to my surprise (sarcasm), no email or message in my account. Better life: it’s plugged in so you have power. The moment it’s unplugged no power. Simple and effective Accuracy: so far I can see my two cars. They’re in the right location So you’re back up to 3 stars. Let’s hope the other 2 go smoothly. And if they do, I’ll commit to another 11 devices. 6/24/21 Tech support: Bought a handful of this for a few cars I have. None of the vehicle loads to profile, along with your driver info. Been emailing this company (chat support) for days, with no solution. You get your typical “try this, and try that”. Ive attempted to load my driver info, and vehicles numerous times, using different platforms (web, apple, app). I now have about $500 worth of useless obd2 plugs. Did not rate battery life because a), it doesn’t work. B), it plugs into the obd2, providing juice the entire time Accuracy. Can’t rate this because it doesn’t work.
