Works where others have failed
This is a no nonsense product. It uses good materials where required, and has a simple effective design without any silly design mistakes. It installs simply and is extremely firm once installed. If you are having problems with rats in the UK, it is highly probable that they are Norway rats, and these almost always come from the drains, not complicated wall climbing or invasion through exterior holes. This simply isn't how the Norway rats operate. I wasted so much time and effort looking elsewhere when I should have been looking at the drains. This has been 100% effective.

THANK GOD !
Having had a rat come in the house up through the internal soil stack from the drains and chew the flexi pipe behind the upstairs loo quick action was needed .Fitted 3 of these bad boys on various inlets we have to have to the drains and so far so good .Depending on your drain lay out one may suffice .Feel like it will last as the cheaper ones look like they will get clogged up with poo and paper .Early days but it’s a big yes from me !Easy to fit even I can do it 😂

Easy to install rat wall.
This really does the job.Good quality , very flexible strong steel and the flap is well fitted so as not to cause blockages. It was very easy to install.I fitted mine using the nut provided but I think I will purchase the fitting pole for future needs to avoid putting hand into the murky depths. It is just the job.Only downside I can see is the ridiculous price , it can’t ever be described as value for money.

Not worth the price being charged
When I looked up the reviews this looked worth the money but having received it I'm really disappointed, although it may surve the purpose but I certainly do not think it is worth the price being charged, even it has been laser cut etc. There are others on tge market at half the price & very similar in design I wish I had chosen one of them before fitting it. Let's see if it does the job & how long it lasts???

Keeps the rats at bay
Had a problem with rats coming up the sewer pipe at knight from the main manhole and nibbling at my plastic sewer pipes waking me up all the time, so fitted this and boom no more rats nibbling at the pipes. its been in place for a year now and no issues with it.

Probably the Best Ratwall available?
This does seem to work -But 2 Cons - I feel that it is REALLY expensive! - but then if it does it’s job and keeps rats out of your house then OK it is worth it? - I did a lot of research before buying this and it does seem to do its job? - Lets hope so! - I will send an update maybe? - I have actually bought 2 of these - the second one didn’t seem to fit as tightly as the first I bought. The first one I bought, I had to file the flap on one side as when it lifted to allow liquid/waste to flow through it was sticking in the open position. Not what you expect for such an expensive bit of kit.

Seems to work
Positives; it’s well made, hinge design is good in that it is largely external to the pipe when fitted so doesn’t reduce its bore, and the nut tightening mechanism to fit it works well. Sizeable metal ‘stop’ prevents loss down the sewer if it comes loose.Negative; CHECK YOUR INSPECTION CHAMBER before ordering- I discovered that the inflows and outflow pipes all had significant overhangs of the brick walls above them ,which meant I couldn’t use the fitting rod from the surface to place the rat wall. Fortunately a bucket of caustic soda/water mix poured over the inside of the chamber carefully and then a rinse off with a hose made getting down there to place the rat wall and manually adjust the nut a lot less unpleasant!

Expensive and needs modifying!
It is expensive for what it is but when you consider the fact you have to grind away material from the flap so it can freely move, it is a rip off!The quality of the material and design are very good but it fits poorly and for the money is a faff.I would say buy but be prepared to modify it!
