Cant knock the tea
Fancied a nice cup of tea the other day and thought I’d give these PG Tips a go because they were cheap and had decent reviews. They’re actually really good Strong, proper full-bodied flavour, no weak watery nonsense. The biodegradable bags are a nice touch too, makes me feel slightly less guilty about drinking 6 cups a day. The Mrs even said “This one’s better than the last lot you bought” which is basically her version of a Michelin star. If you just want a decent, refreshing black tea that doesn’t cost the earth, these are spot on. Nothing fancy, just does exactly what a good British cuppa should do. Good quantity for the price and good size. Will definitely buy again. Cheers

やはり紅茶はイギリスに限りますなあ
PG Tipsはイギリスの庶民のものです。高級なのはたくさんありますが、みんなこの紅茶が大好き。Tetley'sも良いですが、私はこっちかな。 紙の箱を開けると、紙パックがそのまんまぎっしりつまってます。個包装どころか、箱の包装フィルムなどもありません。エコというよりイギリスの合理精神て感じですかね。私は大好きです。お味はそりゃもう本物の紅茶です。最近どこのメーカーも茶葉をケチって2グラムも入ってなかったりしますが、個包装が2.9g。たっぷり入ってます。ミルクティーももちろん良いですが、私は渋いのを味わいたいので、濃い目のアイスティーで飲んでます。 これに慣れたら日本の紅茶なんて全然飲めなくなりますね。ちなみにリプトンがPG tips日本仕様のJapan Original Blend…というのを出してますが、あれはもう全く別物なのでご注意ください。羊頭狗肉です。

前回はテトリー。 2パックが繋がって入ってる。形は四角。紐などはない。 香りは余りないが甘みのある紅茶で飲みやすい。 テトリーより薄くて渋く出る…気がする。後は好み。

Not bad at all
I like my tea very strong with some milk. I used to drink Typhoo tea but all the Typhoo tea bags bought in the UK have gone, and because they are so very expensive in Japan I thought I settle down to having PG tips tea bags instead. But to my surprise, they are strong enough to meet the criteria of my taste and make a good nice cuppa.
