Heavy duty for Suspa Struts 28 lb struts
I ordered these struts & brackets to support a wooden storage box lid on my homebuilt kayak trailer. The 46" x 24" 20lb lid opens from from horizontal to vertical & is hinged on the long side. Using the 10mm Ball Stud brackets from API the struts were easy to install once I figured out the correct location to mount the brackets. The Ball Stud Brackets are heavy duty & should outlast the life of the Struts. I used to use a piece of wood to prop open the lid but now I just give a slight lift to open the lid a couple of inches and the struts slowly open it the rest of the way to about 80 degrees. To close it only takes easy an downward push. The struts snap easily onto the ball links with no tools and remove almost as easily with a screw driver to release a clip making them very easy to replace when the time comes. These things are great and I would definitely recommend!

Strong and perfect
Extra holes, nice.works perfectly just as advertised. I like to post ratings because I live and die by yours. When I give a bad review it's not easy for me. I want these things to work and I'm handy. I'll make them work if I can. If they are junk, I'll post for sure.
