Good set but subpar case
The mahjongg pieces are very nice and high quality. The only thing that could be better is the bag for the pieces which is made of some sort of plastic material.

Lovely set, be careful with the case
The set itself is very nice. The tiles are a good medium size - not full size, but good for playing at home and not too bulky to take to play elsewhere. The tiles feel nice and smooth, with a pleasing weight. The only downside for me is the case that the set comes in. It looks nice, but even with no damage it is very easy for the sides to open enough to allow tiles to fall out, if not carefully handled. Even easier for the instruction booklet to fall out. If you don't want to replace the case, make sure the instructions are kept under the tiles!

As a beginner I took my time looking for good quality set. Iโm glad I did. Ordered and delivered with no problems at all. The set is extremely good. Size and clarity are excellent. Handbook is very helpful, checked all the pieces nothing missing or damaged. Would highly recommend.

Excellent quality!
I don't know how to play traditional Mahjong, I bought this set specifically for Mahjong Solitaire. It's a wonderful, meditative way to unplug from screens. Thereโs something incredibly satisfying about the 'clack' of the tiles and the focus required to clear a physical pyramid layout.
