BALEINE 100L Laundry Hamper with Lid, Large Laundry Basket Bin

Large for 1-2 people but if I had a family I would go larger and non-collapsible. Me personally, was looking for a collapsible unit that can be put out of the way if needed and stored but not too flimsy....since tossing a dirty t-shirt or socks into the laundry basket aka "Larry Bird for 3" basketball style can be fun from a distance, so I did not want it to fall over or move if I hit the rim or banked a dirty hand towel off the wall for 2 pts. Clever design using 4 rods and Velcro--came with detachable bag to walk it to the washer. Sturdy bamboo rim and handles--this is perfect for me alone or 1 each for a kid`s room but if your kid is a dirty laundry "dunker" you might want to pick a stronger product--for me it is great. Overall well made, attractive, nice selection of colors and fits my life style.

I love this hamper. It looks great, fits perfect in my space and easy lift out bag to take straight to the laundry room. The Velcro is sturdy and holds heavy laundry. When empty it is very light weight. The lid fits perfect and is flush. Definitely worth the price!

I love this BALEINE Laundry Hamper with Lid. It's nice and tall and should hold a lot of laundry. I purchased this hamper because I was tired of seeing my grandson's laundry on the bathroom floor. I figured that if he thought his clothing belonged in the bathroom, he should have a hamper. This hamper fits the bill and will help him stay organized. This Baleine hamper is beautiful. It feels durable. It took just about 3 minutes to put it together. It was very easy to assemble. You just stick the 4 poles in the corner pockets and voila! The vinyl bag insert is large and thick, but not too thick. The outer fabric covering adds a nice touch. It is easily collapsible if, for some reason, you need to do that. It really seems like a good quality item.

I was really expecting decent quality for an item that’s almost $30, and I was met with disappointment. Normally I would not leave a poor review on a product, and would quietly just return it. But I got hurt during assembly, and was generally very frustrated while putting it together. Immediately while opening the packaging, I grazed my thumb along the wooden edge of the hamper to remove the plastic, and ended up with a thick 1 cm long splinter jammed into my hand. It took 20 mins to remove, and every time I tried to get it out, the wood would break into pieces under the skin, causing me to have to cut open my thumb to get it all out. Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious, but I really wasn’t happy that a product I bought would draw blood. Unfortunately that’s not where the problems stop. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and attempted to assemble it, which was very difficult to do. The poles just feel too long, so I had to wrestle with it to fit them into place. And one of the screws on the side didn’t fit into the pre-drilled notch, causing it to go crooked and stick out. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, since this all just happened, so that is all I have to say on this matter. I want to see if this product holds up, but if it gives me any more grief, I will be returning it.

It’s decent quality and really easy to set up. Once it’s set up it’s very durable and firm. Doesn’t wobble at all. The handles are placed well but most of the time the load is pretty heavy. The cover is nice and the look is minimalist. Let me tell u one thing tho, DO NOT GRAB THIS BY THE COVER THING. I made the mistake of lifting the whole weight of this thing by the cover thingy and it partially tore. Idk if this is my fault but I felt it tore pretty easy so just be cautious of that.

Handles a load of clothes and is sturdy

Exactly as pictured - great quality for the price. I love that the liner comes out to carry the clothes to the laundry room and can be washed to get rid of odor.

It’s easy to assemble. The removable bags aren’t that great. They’re made of cheap materials. Would not recommend pulling them out if the bag is full of clothes because the handles will break on you. It comes collapsed in a box and you have to assemble it. The top wood frame is in 2 pieces and you have to put 2 screws on each side that comes with it. The top frame is flimsy and will break where the screws are if you have clothes hanging on it. It’s a throwaway clothes hamper that’s not made to last. It’s perfect for college dorms. The only thing that will last is the small screwdriver that comes with it.
