Madcow Rocketry 09" x 09" Chute Blast Protector

I really like these chute protectors - I have a couple of different sizes, and they definitely do the job. The chute is protected, and on a larger rocket you're not using a ton of wadding or that cellulose stuff. You do need to read up on how to use one (I wrap the chute up in a loose burrito style wrap which seems to be the most popular method) but there's really not anything to it.

This did not protect my parachute. With that said it was a small space and it was directly against the end of the engine mounting tube. I do have 2 other of these that have worked well so far, however this one failed miserably.

One launch, two holes burned clean through. Absolutely did not work.
