These were a bir salty but we ate some

Buyer beware! If you order this product and it is damaged, you are stuck with the damage product that you cannot eat. I ordered 2 jars. The first jar was fine, but the second jar had an indentation on the lid. The vacuum seal was broken and about 2 inches of the brine had drained out. If you look at the indentation, it looks like it was made with a tool, and not your normal shipping dent. A bit suspicious. I won't eat something with a broken vacuum seal, so I had to pitch it. It was a wasted $15.

These are really wonderful beans. They are chewy, nutty and very tasty, and apparently very high in protein. I am generally a dry - soak- pressure cook gal with beans but apparently these beans are very labor intensive and need daily rinsing for 3 days to get rid of the bitterness. That is why I prefer ordering them already made. Great in soups.

So glad to find this protein packed bean that is lower carbs. I use it mostly in salads.

There was liquid inside the package from the jar and a little rusted on the cover but they seemed okay didn't smell funny and tasted okay as far as I could tell, just leaked.
