I just got this pulled apart today and installed it in the door frame. I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely thick the actual bar was and how sturdy this was. I think this is very close to the very perfect pull-up bar. A lot of pull up bars that I’ve seen online have these rubber grips which I’m sure we’re out of time and the bar itself is too thin. This one is nice and thick and doesn’t need a foam pad and it has a nice hand feel too. If you’re looking for a strong Bacik pull up bar for wall mount. This is the ideal item.

I bought this pull up bar for my 14 year old son along with a package of rubber resistance bands. He is tall 5’10” so I hung it up high above a room opening and drilled it straight into a beam. It holds him up with ease at 165lbs and he has been using it for 9 months as part of his routine. It’s easy to grip. A solid piece of equipment, welded with quality and comes with strong lag screws and rings for attachments. I do recommend purchasing some resistance bands for starting out (that’s what the purple rubber thing is wrapped around the center of the bar) even with them, it takes time to build up the right muscle groups. He is super pleased with his gains. 🌟
