Perfect fit to shift cable on 2008 GMC Yukon
I used this to fix the bushing on the shift cable of a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali. As these cars age, the bushing will fail (a sign would be the shifter being a bit loose/easy to move than normal). This was a direct fit to the shift cable, with a good and tight seal. You might need to use a little pry tool to push it in to make it seat correctly - but it was an easy fix. Intuitive to install, good and tight fit against the shifter. It comes in a pack of two, but after installing the initial one, I suspect it should last for quite some time.

Worked great. Fits perfect for 2014 GMC Yukon Denali Xl. I purchased a inferior one at auto parts store that didn't work.

These actually fit!
This was the only one that fit tightly and worked for my 2010 surburban 1500 2wd. All the others were too loose and the shift cable would basically just fall out.

Does the job well
3 months ago (5,000 miles) I replaced the bushing on my 2010 GMC that connects the shifter cable to the transmission lever underneath the truck. Still works like a champ.A medium- sized flat screwdriver is the only tool you need to remove the old bushing and coax the new one in place.YouTube has videos on how to do the repair.I think the second identical bushing goes inside the steering column or something. Since that one isn't exposed to mud, snow and ice I'm not worried about it.Sure is nice to repair a pretty big problem for twelve bucks.

Got me out of a pinch
This part fails on a lot of Chevy's and GM's. As long as you install it correctly, facing the right way it'll stay on. I've found most people that say it doesn't stay on haven't noticed they have it installed incorrectly or backwards.
