Still Searching for the Perfect Training Pad!
I hate to admit that I am a "Professional Puppy Pad Shopper"; however, with 5 tiny Shih Tzus, who use puppy pads when it is too wet, too hot or too dark to go outside...or I am too lazy, I have become quite the expert. I had high hopes for these. The size is wonderful. However, they are just too thin, and not absorbant enough, even though I use three at a time.....two side by side and one covering the center of both. They still leak. I don't know if it is the side leakage or a leak through at the source, the floor underneath gets WET!, darn it. I probably won't order again, and will continue my quest. Simple Solution Extra Large is still my pick for quality construction, thickness and coverage.

training pads.
I actually dont use these pads for their intended purpose. I use them as extra protection at my litter box for my cat. Every now and then my cat misjudges being all the way in the litter box. I put one of these pads under the box and it cleans up very easily. It has definately made the litter box less of a nightmare

These are terrible!
I heard directly from 3M that they discontinued making these in the XL but I now see them back on Amazon so I bought a few packs. They used to be really great but they now are a mess. The padding isn't distributed evenly and when I open them up, whatever is used for the padding (looks like cotton) comes flying out everwhere. They leak and they don't work at all. Can't these manufacturers just stick with making a product the same way? Why do they have to mess with it? I assume it was for some cost or they changed who makes them for them but they went from being the best to the worst. Big bummer!

Good bargain!
These pads work well. I use them for my cat's and they took to them ok. The only reason a 4 star rating is because they could be a little thicker and the if the animal goes to close to the side the liquid can run over. I will buy again.

Different Use
I use the pads for a different reason. I use them under my litter box because my cat also misses the litter box. The pads work great and I would definitely recommend them.
