LG AN-MR650A Magic Remote Control with Voice Mate for Select 2017 Smart Televisions

Saw conflicting responses as to whether it would work with the LG 65UJ6540, and decided to go for it. And lo and behold, the remote works! With the laser pointer thing, watching TV and using its smart TV functions will never be the same. I used to have a laptop hooked up to my old smart TV, and now with this TV and this remote, I no longer have to. Web browsing is easy with the pointer--no more clicking left left up up left, etc., to get to each individual letter. I haven't really used the voice command much, but so far it's been impressive. Big big fan of this thing.

When our 5 year old told us he 'washed' the remote for the tv to clean it we were in a bind to find a remote and this was EXACTLY what we needed, plus super fast shipping and cheaper than on the companies website!

Bought to replace my original Magic remote for my LG SJ8570. The majority of the buttons are the same, however, the Live Zoom button (last button on the bottom right of my original) is reconfigured on the new remote. The physical layout of the buttons is almost identical, but not all function the same.Works fine as a remote for most of the TV functions, but as it stands, I have not figured out a way to access the Live Zoom feature of my TV with this remote.

Don't buy. I purchased this expensive lg remote. And curser stop working in few days. Also can't even change the channels with the wheel or channel buttons I have paired it hundreds of timess in many ways and still not working. What a horrible thing and dissatisfied with the remote or whom ever is selling this lg remote control. Paid $59. For a non working remote control. Don't buy it.

I have a 2017 UH7650 i got from costco, it's a great LG tv, but i lost the remote when moving it to another room. I ordered this remote thinking it's that roundish style version, but it's just a flat normal looking tv remote. It has all the same buttons as the AN-MR650 had, so you're not losing anything. What's weird was LG sent me another remote similar to this one, and it didn't pair up, this one paired up on the first try. So if you need a remote for a 2017 LG TV, try this one out.

The remote it is a true replacement of the original. It paired right away with my SJ8500 LG tv and it works very well. Thanks!VH

Got it as a replacement as the one that came with the TV has started malfunctioning. The model is MR-650A and I think it only works with a couple of TV models, if you get it as a replacement, make sure that this is the model you are looking for.It worked as it's supposed to be and of course have the same cons I knew already, but it's just a replacement anyway.

These remotes will NOT replace all your other remotes. Firstly, this remote does NOT have white on the obviously most used buttons, which are the up/down for volume and channel change. Every other button the remote is white to highlight it so you can see them (especially in the dark, since this remote does NOT have backlighting - WTH). I did take some white nail polish to put on those particular buttons to make them stand out, since obviously, these are the ones you will most likely use the most - especially the volume buttons. Also, this remote will work somewhat like your other remotes, but will not do everything you want; example being, my Comcast/Xfinity remote has to still be used if I want to go into my "On Demand" section. You cannot do it with this remote. Also, it works occasionally, when it feels like it, to replace my Fire TV remote. Bottom line, if you are thinking this will make it so you don't need numerous remotes on your table any more, forget it. Not happening. You will just now have one more remote on there. If you have a need for a "mouse" for your TV, then this remote has that available, otherwise, I'd just pass on it as all it does is all to the collection you already have.
