Good. Default is Fahrenheit.
Much nicer to use than the thermometer I had before, very quick readings. Has a concealed magnet, not mentioned in product description, so can be stuck to fridge or other steel surface. The backlight can be handy, but you may not need it. Would prefer it to be smaller, but that’s very minor. Would personally want Centigrade to be the default, or to have an option to change the default. There’s a similar product on Amazon which does have a switch inside the battery cover to change the default between F and C, but there’s no such switch on this. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this item.

It' s lightweight and portable, perfect for bbq outdoor. High quality. There is a backlight on it which is a great feature. It makes it easy to read when grilling at night.
