Good value proposition: price and quality come with headers. If you add Arduino support, ESP-IDF ecosystem, and CircuitPython there are many options. Hardware supports Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, and IEEE 802.15.4 but examples are only available in ESP-IDF. I wish there were Arduino Matter examples.

Reading through the description you would assume it would be the 4MB flash variant, but the one I got was the 2MB flash variant. Otherwise is perfectly fine in other regards as expected of the esp32h2 devkit

This is very well done and a great value, just like all the Espressif dev/evaluation boards I have purchased. It works perfectly with Arduino IDE.

If you're looking for an ESP32 devkit for 802.15.4 projects, I'd recommend the ESP32-C6-DevKitM-1: the specs are better, and it's actually cheaper than this H2 devkit.
