Love our RTGS 100 LEDs String Lights Plug-in with remote! We used them to create a very simple light box for this stained glass panel my father made many years ago for a window in his home and that we now wanted to hang on the wall. Light was necessary to show off his work!My husband made a light box by putting a diffusing plastic over a lightweight frame and attaching the lights in a random pattern behind the plastic. Yes, there are spots of light behind our stained glass, which is not satisfactory for museum lighting of stained glass, but we just love finally being able to easily illuminate my dad's stained glass! We hung the glass from hooks above with chain Thank goodness my dad had applied a metal stripping around three sides of the panel when he removed it from the window in his home. He included hook holes in the metal stripping at the tops of each side so the panel could be hung. We hung chain from wrought iron hooks attached in the wall above and attached the chain with small hooks placed in the holes in the metal stripping Our light box is attached to the wall, separate from the glass, behind the stained glass. I did not want to attach the box to the stained glass.We chose plug-in over battery operated because there are no batteries to have to replace and is more practical than batteries for us. Very pleased with the choice. Indeed the lights are "warm," in fact they show how "cool" my lamp lights are and I'd rather the lamps were as warm in color as they used to be before light bulbs became so difficult to choose!The remote is absolutely simple to use! We are using the lower brightness setting and keeping it on the "on" mode, tho there is a great range of brightness and many modes of intermittent light patterns. I plan to cover the cord in a fabric sleeve that is close to the wall color.We love these lights and being able to easily illuminate my dad's stained glass in our home--a tribute to him and his skill!

Just installed these & based on the ease of installation, brightness, and that everything worked as it should as soon as I turned it on (with the remote), I am 100% satisfied w/this purchase.I was a little hesitant bc of the 3 stars but, after looking at the low rated reviews, I realized it was primarily bc those ppl received a defective remote (which appeared to be remedied by the seller by simply sending a replacement battery for the remote), so besides those few, it seems that other customers were just as happy w/their purchases as I am.Before this, I had bought battery powered lights which was a pain bc they’d run out pretty quick & needed to be replaced way too quickly. Plus I wanted a remote that I could control the dimness with, so this product had everything the other one was lacking, but actually exceeded my expectations.To summarize: This product did everything I expected it, and then some. As long as you don’t receive anything defective (which seems like only a small handful of ppl did), you will be happy with this purchase.Only thing I wish this had was a sleep timer. But that’s not to say there’s anything wrong with the way this product is.

Used this string of lights on top of an armoire in girls bedroom instead of a night light. Intensity of brightness is adjustable 25, 50, 100%. Remote functions easily to turn on/off and adjust brightness from other side of room. The 8 changeable flashing styles are too strong for this use- used continuous light without flashing. Unfortunately, lights do not twinkle as I had hoped, but the effect is lovely anyway. 7.5' long cord extends to plug from end of light string. NICE! Robert at RTGS was fast and responsive to battery problem; he replaced a dud battery by sending a full pack, so we're good to go for a long time. Can use CR 2032 or 2025 coin-size batteries.

I bought these string lights to use inside a large metal lamp with intricate cut-outs. The lamp had a single bulb that constantly shorted out. I gutted the lamp and put these string lights in and around a glass vase, and put it in the lamp. Lights have 3 intensity settings and several flash settings. I have to plug it into an awkward to reach spot behind my dresser, so the remote is very handy. It's a lot of small lights, but creates a lovely, warm glow that casts the cut work pattern from the lamp on the wall. Good price and fast delivery.

Hello, These lights are beautiful. I have purchased several sets but some of the remotes are non-functional. The reviews also remark the same problem. I have had to return one set. The other one that failed I kept, as it didn't matter if the remote worked. I want to order more light sets, but not until I feel this problem is resolved. I ordered two of the warm lights to be wrapped around some columns we have in our living room.Initially only one strand worked when it was plugged in (without the remote receiver extension) and the other did not work with or without the receiver.The directions don't give any indication that there was a bonding process between the remote and the receiver but I tried anyway. After reading the reviews, I ran out and got two replacement batteries for the remotes. That fixed the problem for one of the strands. Looks great too!Unfortunately, the other strand does really seem to be dead. No response whether plugged in directly, with the extension, or even with the new remote batteries.Will add updates if the return process becomes an issue

I ordered this twice. First order was perfect, no problem with the control whatsoever. Then came the second order the control did not work, I checked and found that the battery did not work. It would be inconvenient to but a battery just to test the remote control, but it was easy for me since I had another battery from the other control to test the control that was not working.

They look great, the remote is such a plus for outside use, however, we only have space for one plug in our outside electrical box and so we wish we could extend the lights so we can add lights without having to plug in another entire wire of lights
