I found it impossible to identify trees from this book. The pictures and the description are not nearly detailed enough. I took it on a walk with a group of pre-schoolers and ended up putting it away as they (and I!) grew so frustrated. ID sheets from the woodland trust a much better solution.

Bought a few nature books for grandson who is almost 3 and they are brilliant for him. This one is a very good reference for him. He will love it.

This book is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to teach their children or themselves about basic trees. Very well explained and showed through out the book. Short and precise. Price is very good.

This is a beautifully illustrated book with good info i brought this for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it

The drawings are very nice. Each page has a drawing of a different tree and its leaf shape with a small description.Bought this for my four year old nephew who has become fascinated with the trees in the park recently.

A lovely book to have when taking our grand children out in the woods.. it's almost pocket size and we look at it all the time when we are out and back at home when we have pocketful's of leaves on the table...thanks for this

Arrived promptly and really good large clear illustrations for 4 year old who likes looking through the book.
