bought one for my ipad pro 10.5, considering the price, it's a very good choice for practical use.Pros: 1) has connector, no need of Bluetooth or wifi; 2) has pen holder that let you get every you need on hand (the pen holder is tight, no worries of slip it out); 3) durable materials (since I just got it, if it broke soon, I will let y'all know); 4) much much cheaper than apple smart keyboard, but function as very well, let the pad sit on, then connection is set; 5) the keys are light and smooth.(again, I will let you know if it breaks soon).Cons:(not dislike, just my thoughts about the product that might be improved) 1) a little heavier than apply smart keyboard; 2) as some of the reviewer said, the pen holder is outside the cover, not in the space between the cover, which makes you if wanna flip the cover to the back and use ipad itself, it feels like holding two boards with a stick in between, which feels not steady and cost your hand sore soon. 3) when close the cover, very little magnet strength helps the cover shut neatly, it won't affect turning off the screen automatically, but will easily flash open the cover and lit the screen on. 4) when set the ipad into the edges on cover, which fits very well and safe; but when you want to sit the ipad onto connector and start using it as an office style, you need to ‘dig it' the bottom edge out of the edge knot with some effort, which might have better way to deal with. 5) the material is a little smelly, smells a little like a paper box moistened by broken eggs, hope it will go away with some ventilation.

I have been using this for about a month. When connected, the keyboard works well and types easily. There is no delay in typing as is typical with Blue Tooth keyboards. The lighted keyboard is nice along with the ability to adjust iPad brightness, sound volume and start/stop video/audio playing.Cons: When using on lap must make sure the back hinge is flat because there are only a narrow range of angles that the smart connector connects. It would be nice if it connected over a larger range. The iPad on/off button is covered by the clip attachment. There is a button built into the attachment but it doesn't work very well. Also the access to the volume buttons is a cutout but it is hard to reach the buttons. When closed there is no magnet to hold it closed so it could open if dropped. Haven't had that problem yet. The hinge is a bit thin so I don't know how well it will hold up. Finally in the upper right of the keypad is a key to lock the iPad. It is just above the key to backspace so if you reach too high to backspace you accidentally lock the iPad - just a little aggravation you have to be aware of. However, considering the price compared to the Apple and Logitech keypads it is a good buy. It performs well for typing - producing documents, etc. I am enjoying it.Added after 4 months use. The plastic clips on either side of the iPad have loosened up so that the iPad can slip out of the case. Sometimes when i am typing, it just slips out and the back falls down flat. This is undesirable. I am disappointed in the product and will have to look for something else.

I bought this for my fiance over Christmas and he uses it all the time.

I would have given this a 5 star review but the keyboard is finicky about when it wants to be connected. Otherwise a great product.

What is not told here is that there is only one angle to rest your IPAD onto the keyboard. I was used to having at least three settings. The one nice part of this cover, is that it is not so confirmed as some of the solid constructed model are, in that you can hold the IPAD and let the keyboard lay to the side. Great when you are sitting at home and just using the IPAD to catch up on things. I am returning. Does not meet my needs.

These are perfect for our needs

I like this keyboard as far as ease of typing. For a smaller keyboard it’s still easy to type. That is, however, when it wants to work. I would give it more stars if it worked at least 50% of the time but you never know when it will connect. Especially for the money...it’s not worth it.
